The Cloutier Lab is located at The Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute – Hospital), an integrated research institute and hospital affiliated with McGill University. Nestled at the base of Mont-Royal, and part of the McGill campus, The Neuro is an Open Science institution that provides a vibrant training environment where discovery research and patient care go hand-in-hand.
Neural Circuit Assembly and Function in the Healthy and Diseased Brain
Our research focuses on gaining a better understanding of how neural circuits are formed during development with an emphasis on the cellular and molecular events that modulate neuronal specification, axonal targeting, and synapse formation and function.
